The 20-year-old will also have to complete 240 hours of community service and pay £300 in costs after being found guilty of sending a grossly offensive communication at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court.
Mr Ahmed, of Fir Avenue, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, posted the message a couple of days after the deaths of the soldiers in March.

He said: 'People gassin about the deaths of Soldiers! What about the innocent familys who have been brutally killed. The women who have been raped. The children who have been sliced up!
'Your enemy's were the Taliban not innocent harmful familys.
'All soldiers should DIE & go to HELL! THE LOWLIFE F****N SCUM!

'Gotta problem. Go cry at your soldiers grave and wish him hell because that's where he is going.'
Mr Ahmed was arrested and charged when the mother of one of the dead servicemen notified the police after viewing the message.

He told the court he did not think what he wrote was offensive but had apologised and deleted the post anyway.
