Racist ex-soldier who stuck a pig's head to mosque gates in 'revenge' for extremists burning poppies is jailed for four months

  • Simon Parkes wrote 'Allah' on the pig's snout in revenge attack
  • Painted 'rag heads out' on walls of Cheltenham Mosque
  • Head discovered by early-morning worshipper wanting to use mosque

Simon Parkes was today jailed for four months after he stuck a pig's head onto the gates of a mosque
A former soldier has been jailed for four months after he tied a pig's head to the gates of a mosque before uploading pictures of what he did on Facebook.
Simon Parkes, 45, tied the animal's head to the front of Cheltenham Mosque, Gloucestershire, after seeing a group of Muslims burning poppies on Remembrance Sunday 2010.
He also wrote 'Allah' on the pig's snout in what was seen as an 'act of revenge' against the Muslim religion.
Parkes also painted 'rag heads out' on the side of the mosque.
Gloucester Crown Court heard that his actions had distressed worshippers at the mosque and served to heighten racial tensions.
Sentencing him Judge Jamie Tabor QC, said: 'Not only soldiers but the majority of citizens of this country were offended by seeing the poppies burnt.
'They, however, did not react as you did. You deliberately set out to not only insult another religion but you undertook to inflame and enhance racial tension.'
Parkes went to the mosque with an unknown accomplice in the early hours of November 13, 2010 and placed the pig's head on the gate at the front.
Pigs are seen as being unclean in the Muslim and Jewish religion so Parkes' actions will have been deeply offensive to anyone who saw what he had done.
They used red paint to daub graffiti on the building which was found a few hours later by a worshipper who was 'deeply offended' by what he saw.

Prosecutor Lisa Hennessy said: 'On the gates was a disembodied pig’s head which had been tied on a head level by what appeared to be shoe laces.
'Written on the head, down the nose, was the name of Allah. He removed the head as quickly as he could. Two passers by removed the head from the vicinity and placed it in a bin.
A worshipper discovered the pig's head early on November 13, 2010, when he arrived at Cheltenham Mosque

'CCTV, taken from a nearby camera, showed two hooded, masked men arrive at around 2am. They got out the car with the pig’s head in a carrier bag.'
Since the poppy burning, the extremist Muslim group that carried it out has been formally banned.

Muslims Against Crusades was made a proscribed terrorist group by Home Secretary Theresa May meaning they could face up to 10 years in prison.
Emdadur Choudhury was fined just £50 for starting the fire and shouting 'British soldiers burn in hell'
Emdadur Choudhury was fined just £50 for starting the fire and shouting 'British soldiers burn in hell'
There was anger in March last year when Emdadur Choudhury was fined just £50 for starting the fire and shouting 'British soldiers burn in hell'.
After receiving his penalty the 26 year old said: 'I don't have any respect for British soldiers, and if they lose a limb or two in Afghanistan then they deserve it.'
Choudhury, from Bethnal Green, East London, was found guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour by District Judge Howard Riddle, following a one-day trial and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Parkes, who served in Northern Ireland and the Falklands, uploaded pictures onto the internet three weeks later and boasted about his actions.
In police interview he admitted to carrying out the attack after seeing a news item about Muslim extremists burning poppies two days earlier.
He pleaded guilty to racially aggravated criminal damage and racially aggravated intentional harassment at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court earlier this month.
Defending him, Stephen Thomas, said Parkes had suffered a number of difficult set-backs leading up to the event and was sorry for what he had done.
He said: 'The catalyst was when he saw the poppy burning at Queen Kensington only two days before. He does not seek to use it as an excuse but it goes some way.
'He believed in his mind that this behaviour was the same as what the Muslim extremists had done. He accepts now his behaviour went beyond the traditional freedom of speech.
'He was a soldier who served in Northern Ireland and the Falklands among others and although he was assessed some time ago as having no issues with post traumatic stress disorder he suffered severe flashbacks.
Parkes said he was reacting to a poppy burning two days earlier on Armistice Day by a now-banned group
Parkes said he was reacting to a poppy burning two days earlier on Armistice Day by a now-banned group
'He is genuinely remorseful for what he has done and wishes to write a letter of apology to the Mosque.'
Judge Tabor added that the crime was obviously premeditated and by putting the photographs online he was in no doubt he was 'revelling' in what he had done.
He handed Parkes a four month prison sentence after reducing the time due to his guilty plea and his 'still untreated PTSD'.
After sentencing, a spokesman from Cheltenham Mosque said: 'This was a very shocking incident for the whole community Muslim and Non-Muslim alike.
'We would like to re-iterate our thanks to the police, the council and the local neighbours for their tremendous support.
'The damage was dealt with very quickly in order for normality to be achieved and we have left the rest to the authorities and the justice system to deal with.'
Inspector Tim Waterhouse, from Gloucestershire Police, said: 'I hope this sentence sends out a clear message that this sort of appalling criminal behaviour will not be tolerated.
'Although this disturbing incident happened nearly two years ago a painstaking and difficult enquiry has led to today’s sentencing.
'The message is clear that we will not stop in our determination to target criminals and keep people and our communities safe from harm.'

NWN: While not a very positive or clever thing to do, the disparity in sentences handed out by the Courts is despicable.

One law for us and one law for them !

This lad has served his country and has PTSD, which should be being treated as a priority - not being banged up in jail. The Judge here is a disgrace!

.France to probe Arafat murder claims

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat salutes while attending the Palestinian Islamic Christians Conference at his compound in the West Bank

A French court has opened an inquiry into allegations that Yassir Arafat, the former Palestinian leader who died in a Paris hospital in 2004, was murdered by radioactive poisoning.
It followed the deposition of a civil suit in late July by Arafat’s widow, Suha, after a Swiss forensic institute found unexpected traces of polonium-210 on his clothes and other personal effects preserved by his wife.

Although the Lausanne-based institute cautioned that its results, broadcast on the Al Jazeera news channel, were “not sufficient to determine the cause of death”, its findings fuelled longstanding suspicions among Palestinians that Arafat was poisoned.
Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation’s executive committee, said: “We welcome the fact that the French want to open an investigation and we think it’s about time for it. It should have been opened a long time ago.

“It has to be investigated because there is evidence the death was not natural and there are all sorts of question marks and proof of foul play. We have been suspecting Israeli involvement for a long time. We need closure and we need to find out what happened.”
The French investigation is likely to add impetus to plans by the Palestinian Authority to exhume Arafat’s body from the stone-clad mausoleum in which he is buried in the presidential compound in Ramallah.
The authority, in response to a plea from Mrs Arafat, said last month it was willing to order an exhumation after the results of the Swiss investigation.

Arafat, who for years led the PLO’s fight for Palestinian independence, fell ill after he had been besieged in Ramallah by Israeli tanks for more than two years during the second Palestinian intifada, or uprising. He was airlifted to a military hospital in the French capital where he died.

French doctors were unable to verify the cause of death, stirring claims of foul play. The reports of the presence of polonium on his effects, including his trademark headscarf, were particularly potent because the lethal radioactive substance was used to kill Alexander Litvinenko, a former Russian spy, in London in 2006.
A statement by Mrs Arafat’s lawyers in Paris welcomed the decision by the court in the western suburb of Nanterre. It said they would make no further comment to allow the investigating judges to pursue their probe with respect for secret information and without undue interference.

Lawyers said the investigation, which could involve up to three judges, was the first step towards deciding whether there was a murder case to answer. The case brought by Mrs Arafat and her daughter does not name an alleged killer, but is brought against an unnamed perpetrator X.
Yigal Palmor, spokesman for the Israeli foreign ministry, said the case “does not pertain to us”, adding: “If the French justice system has decided to open an investigation, we hope that it will shed light on this matter.”

‘Health tourist’ jets in from Nigeria to have a baby at Wythenshawe Hospital on NHS

Wythenshawe Hospital is just over two miles from Manchester Airport – making it attractive to ‘health tourists’

Wythenshawe Hospital is just over two miles from Manchester Airport – making it attractive to ‘health tourists’
A heavily-pregnant woman from Nigeria flew thousands of miles to have her baby at a Manchester hospital – costing the taxpayer around £10,000.
The ‘health tourist’ travelled more than 3,000 miles from her home country to the cash-strapped Wythenshawe Hospital for an emergency caesarean.
It is understood the woman – who was educated at top US university Harvard – flew to Manchester Airport and went directly to the hospital where she told doctors she required the procedure after a scan in Nigeria revealed complications in her pregnancy.

Health minister Simon Burns told the M.E.N. the NHS is not there to ‘serve the health needs of the globe’ and said the government is reviewing the system to prevent inappropriate access to NHS resources.
Shadow health secretary Andy Burnham, the MP for Leigh, also called for an inquiry into the case. The woman arrived at the hospital and told staff that she had undergone an ultrasound scan which revealed complications and she was advised to have a caesarean.
It is understood she made the journey because she believed she would be in safer hands in Britain. Nigeria offers free maternity care but it is of poor quality and there is a high mortality rate – a woman has a one in 13 chance of dying during pregnancy or childbirth, according to statistics.

A hospital source labelled her a ‘health tourist’ and said she had required vast resources, including midwives, two urology consultants, a radiology consultant, two obstetric consultants and two anaesthetists in the delivery room. Mum and baby recovered well and were discharged this week.
The M.E.N. understands the hospital will now try to bill the woman for her treatment but has no powers to make her pay.

A hospital spokesman said: "At Wythenshawe, as with all hospital trusts across the UK, the care we deliver to all patients is free at the point of delivery.
"If a patient is a non-UK resident and treatment is considered necessary or urgent then treatment would never be withheld. In regards to reclaiming costs from non-UK residents who use our services, we adhere to guidelines issued by the Department of Health.

"As soon as a non-UK patient arrives our finance team are alerted and the individual is made aware, where applicable, of the costs they are liable for as outlined in the Department of Health’s national tariff. Every effort is then made to pursue any monies owed."
A hospital source said Wythenshawe is targeted by health tourists because of its close proximity to the airport just over two miles away.

Last year, the government announced a crackdown on ‘health tourism’ and guidelines on how to curb the practice were published by the Department of Health. It said hospitals could bill foreign patients for their care but the debts of people who leave the country after being treated remain almost impossible to recover.
Mr Burns said: "We won’t tolerate abuse of our national health service. The NHS has a duty to anyone whose life or long-term health is at immediate risk but it is not there to serve the health needs of the globe.
"There are comprehensive rules and procedures to charge visitors for hospital treatment but we know that the system needs to be improved. That is why we are currently reviewing those arrangements to prevent inappropriate free access to the NHS and provide a fairer more balanced system. Hospitals have a legal duty to recover any charges made to overseas patients."

Mr Burnham said: "We need a full inquiry into the circumstances and how the hospital has been left in this position.
"There are clear rules about health tourism and the NHS must be able to recover its costs."
Graham Stringer, MP for Blackley and Broughton, added: "This is simply a foreigner choosing to effectively steal off the NHS and the government should use whatever powers it has to get the money back."
University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust – which runs the hospital – is having to cut £17.5m over the current financial year, bringing its total savings for the past three years to £47m.

NWN: And just what are the  Government going to do about this ? Answer: NOTHING !

Consecutive Tory and Labour governments have not been there for the British people who daftly elected them.

The bankers control our economy. Big business is waiting to pounce, to build homes for immigrants on green belt land.

The second biggest gas retailer has said today they will raise their prices by almost 10% just in time for the winter.

Maybe a revolution is what is needed to wrest control away from the 'faceless ones' who really run our country ?

Because we are 'having our noses rubbed in it' at the moment.

The far right is fragmenting

The BNP is in freefall but there is potential for one of its many rivals to move into the space it vacates

Nick Griffin launches his party's manifesto at the 2010 elections.
Last week, a new report on the English Defence League was released. Detailing the key personalities within the movement and their links to the global "counter-jihad" movement, the document sought to set out what "really lies behind" the group that attracts considerable attention but remains little understood. The author, however, was not a researcher, campaigner or thinktank. It was the chairman of the British National party, Nick Griffin.

Griffin's report marks the latest episode in an escalating story of tension between the BNP and EDL, which has so far been restricted to Twitter and the occasional slanging match at demonstrations. The report goes further, claiming that behind the EDL lie a number of shadowy neoconservatives and "Zionist terrorists" who are seeking to manipulate public concern over Islam to launch new wars and split the far right nationalist scene. It is classic conspiracy theory stuff, although it is no surprise that the co-leader of the EDL, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was unconvinced: "I swear Nick Griffin's lost the plot," he announced on Twitter.
Seen from one angle, the episode is merely the latest example in a long history of rivalry within the far right. The latest accusations are partly a response to anxieties within the BNP about being out-flanked by the EDL and its new alliance with British Freedom, which will see both groups increase their involvement in elections. This begins with elections for a police commissioner in Bedford in November, but may snowball into more significant campaigns at the 2013 local elections and 2014 European elections (where two BNP candidates, including Griffin, hope to save their seats).

For the BNP, the significance of the challenge is underscored by a disastrous set of results at elections this year. At the London mayoral election, its candidate of Uruguayan heritage polled fewer than 29,000 first preference votes, finishing seventh and failing to match the party's result in 2000. Meanwhile, at the Greater London Assembly elections the number of BNP votes was lower than at any previous contest and at local elections the party stood fewer than 140 candidates and failed to win a single seat. With the party in electoral freefall, there is space for a new challenger.

But the rivalry also reflects a broader process of fragmentation within the far right. The most striking aspect of this year's elections was the number of far right parties competing alongside the BNP. In England, local elections were contested by 149 candidates from far right groups other than the BNP, and in some areas these out-performed the 30-year-old party. In Dudley, for example, the BNP was forced to watch its old and more ideologically extreme rival, the National Front, attract more votes. This owes much to a series of personality clashes and ideological splits that have spawned an increasing number of groups, including Britain First, British Freedom, British People's party, England First, National Front, English Democrats, Democratic Nationalists and the Britannica party. Most lack resources and members, but their emergence reflects a scene that is in transition and has not yet decided on its destination.
More broadly, the BNP-EDL rivalry also reflects how the failure of the far right has often owed more to internal disunity than a lack of external space. The latest spat follows a long line of disputes between the BNP and the National Front in the 1980s, the BNP and Combat 18 in the 1990s, and Griffin and his internal critics in the 2000s. But in Britain, as elsewhere, there has emerged a perfect storm for the far right: ongoing public concern over immigration, more specific anxiety over Islam, falling trust in political institutions, weakening bonds between voters and mainstream parties and the financial crisis have each offered opportunities.
The picture is not all bad, as the young are generally more tolerant than older generations. But there clearly remains ample potential for a far right populist challenger. Whether this latest round of internecine rivalry will remain confined to elections remains to be seen. What is clear is that – one way or another – the modern face of far right politics in Britain looks set to have a makeover.

And here is what Scotland Yard said they would do back in early 1999 just before Griffin decided to challenge John Tyndall for the BNP leadership;

'Scotland Yard and MI5 are planning a huge covert operation to break up violent racist organizations. The Express has learned that intelligence officers will infiltrate far Right groups such as the British National Party.'Other officers will tap telephones, open mail and scrutinise bank accounts and medical records. "We plan to close down these organizations by using every administrative device available to us," said a Yard source.'
The Express newspaper published on 18th February1999

NWN: Agent Nick Griffin has done what the state required of him.  We were infiltrated right at the very top and traitor Scotland Yard Cmdr. John Grieve knew this. It's gone according to their plan. How come some people still cannot understand this ?

Racist black woman back on Youtube.

Hunt her down for prosecution or lay off the white women for stuff even less offensive than this.

According to Home Office advisor LEE JASPER who is black himself said "black people cannot be racist!"

In the past we had a slogan;

If they're white, they're alright,

if they're black, send them back !

 Hunt this racist down !

There have been quite a few white women hauled in front of the courts in the UK of late for racist outbursts. At least one has received a jail sentence.

Let's make sure our anti-white government and criminal justice system hear about this example.

We cannot allow their hypocrisy can we ?

Youtube have pulled it, but it's still on Liveleak.

Young Tory MPs blame 'lazy' baby boomers for Britain's economic decline

A group of rising young Conservative MPs claims that 'idle' British workers are damaging the economy by failing to compete with 'grafting' Asian countries.

Young Tory MPs blame 'lazy' baby boomers for Britain's economic decline
Kwami Kwarteng is among a group of Conservative MPs who say British workers are lazy
The five, who are all 40 or younger and entered Parliament at the last election, are publishing a new book in which they say that "lazy" Brits prefer a lie-in to hard work.
Due to be published on the eve of the Conservative Party election, the book, called Britannia Unchained – Global Growth and Prosperity, also criticises the "baby boomer" generation for seeking to raise taxes for young workers to pay for their lavish pension pots.
Kwasi Kwarteng, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab, Chris Skidmore and Elizabeth Truss, who are all seen as rising stars on the right of the party, describe British workers as among the "worst idlers" in the world, and urge David Cameron to reform work places along the lines of the Asian, rather than the European model.
They say: “Too many people in Britain, we argue, prefer a lie-in to hard work. “Britain will never be as big as China or Brazil, but we can look forward to a new generation, ready to get to work.
“If we are to take advantage of these opportunities, we must get on the side of the responsible, the hard working and the brave. We must stop bailing out the reckless, avoiding all risk, and rewarding laziness.
“Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world. We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor.”

Earlier this week, Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, urged the Government to stop "pussyfooting around" on the economy, and invest in capital projects in order to drive growth.
Mr Kwarteng said: “We need to look beyond Europe for economic success. We should be starting now. There is no reason why we can’t be pushing ahead with a lot of this.
“Boris, when he talks about big infrastructure projects, deregulation and cutting taxes, is absolutely on the money.”
In the book, the group also claim that the country is being dragged down by support by baby boomers in their 60s and 70s for higher taxes in order to fund their pensions and live in comfort.
Asked if the group represented a new force within the Conservative Party, Mr Kwarteng told the London Evening Standard: “There is definitely a new Right which is much more international in its focus. The old Tory Right are a busted flush.”
A No 10 spokesman said: “The Government is working hard to get on top of our deficits and rebalance the economy.
“We’ve got the lowest corporation taxes in the G7, have announced huge investment in transport and infrastructure, as well as an £8O billion funding for lending scheme, and there will be more in due course.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9483268/Young-Tory-MPs-blame-lazy-baby-boomers-for-Britains-economic-decline.html

NWN: Isn't this racist ?
Why are Africa and most of Asia fly infested poverty ridden hell holes if their workers are that good ? And why are they all coming over here ?  The 'baby boomers' biggest mistake was to 'allow' the Kwami Kartengs of the world to enter the UK in massive numbers.

Olympic Political Correctness
Who will win the racial-sensitivity gold medal?
By John Fund

Greek triple-jump champion Voula Papachristou

John Fund
The London Olympics features 302 events. But this year there clearly is a new category: racial sensitivity. These Olympic Games are rife with examples of people taking offense, and it’s time to discuss some guardrails and guidelines before political correctness takes over completely.
First, some behavior on the part of athletes is clearly out of bounds. After Swiss footballer Michel Morganella’s team lost to South Korea, he said on Twitter that his opponents could “go burn” and were a “bunch of mongoloids.” That’s hardly sporting behavior, and he was sent home for insulting the dignity of the Korean team. Beyond that, it was just offensive speech.
And sometimes it’s the critics who are clearly out of line. NBC was deluged with criticism because it ran an ad that offended fans of gold-medal-winning U.S. gymnast Gabby Douglas, who is black. NBC commentator Bob Costas had just finished a commentary in which he said that “much of America has fallen in love with Gabby Douglas” when a gymnastics-themed commercial appeared promoting NBC’s comedy Animal Practice. It featured a small, grinning monkey doing gymnastic tricks.

Because African Americans have sometimes been compared to simians by people trying to dehumanize them, many viewers complained the ad was racist. NBC responded with an apology and an explanation that the ad was placed in the lineup of commercials long before Douglas won her medal. That should end that story.

Then there are the cases in the middle. Greek triple-jump champion Voula Papachristou was expelled from her country’s Olympic team last week after she tweeted a tasteless joke. In a reference to a recent outbreak of West Nile virus in Greece, she said that with so many Africans living in Greece, the mosquitoes carrying the virus would be eating “homemade food.” She was promptly booted for making racist comments “contrary to the values and ideas of the Olympics movement.”

I agree that her attempt at humor was stupid, insensitive, and silly. But racist? Racism means a belief in the superiority of one race over another. I don’t think Papachristou’s tweet clears that hurdle.
It is true that Papachristou was also guilty of making comments supportive of Golden Dawn, an anti-immigrant party whose followers have been involved in ugly confrontations on Greek streets. But while I am not a fan of Golden Dawn, it is a legal party that won 7 percent of the vote in the last Greek election and has 18 members seated in the Greek parliament.

Papachristou has been highly apologetic for her tasteless tweet, but her sporting career still lies in ashes. As Canada’s Calgary Herald pointed out, the decision to oust her “is ironic considering that Greece is both the birthplace of democracy and [the birthplace of] the Olympics. The only kind of speech that needs protection is offensive speech. You’d think Greece would understand that.”

Then there is the case of Nadja Drygalla, a rower who was pressured to leave the German Olympic team last Friday after a TV station reported that her boyfriend was Michael Fischer, who had been a candidate for the far-right National Democratic party in a regional election last year. Some also claimed Fischer had been involved in disruptive protests against immigrants.

Drygalla vehemently denied harboring any extremist views. But the news report prompted Michael Vesper, chief of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, to call her in for a long talk.
“She explained the matter from her point of view,” Vesper told journalists. “I made the problem clear to her.” According to Vesper, the rower reaffirmed her allegiance to the Olympic Charter, and he acknowledged, “I have no doubt that she not only stands upon the foundation of the German constitution but also on that of the Olympic values.” But then Drygalla announced she was “voluntarily” leaving the Olympics, and Vesper accepted her “choice.”

Drygalla has since told the German news agency DPA that her boyfriend “hasn’t been a member of the NPD since May and has distanced himself from the whole thing.” She emphasized that “I made it clear to him in many discussions that I don’t share his views and don’t back them. We didn’t have a very happy relationship when all that was going on.”

If she’s telling the truth, to what office does she apply to restore her reputation? The treatment of Drygalla recalls the classic “guilt by association” tactics that liberals usually rail against when the victims are Communists. The National Democratic party may be odious (government officials have labeled it anti-Semitic), but it is a legal entity with elected members in two state parliaments.
The German media has been tying itself in knots trying to reconcile its desire to expel the far right from public life with principles of tolerance and fairness. Left-wing newspapers are bemoaning the fact that Drygalla was even allowed on the Olympic team, because regional rowing and sports federations were informed of her relationship with Fischer last year. The center-left Berliner Zeitung cautions Drygalla’s critics against making “a snap judgment. Otherwise they may themselves hurt the spirit of tolerance and democracy.”

Drygalla’s former teammates in her Rostock rowing club are bitter. They say the treatment she received recalls the practice of sippenhaft, which means “kin liability.” It was used by the Nazi regime to justify the arrest and torture of the relatives of dissidents and suspects.

People who want to root out everyone accused of holding objectionable views from Olympic teams — or anyone who is related to someone who has objectionable views — would be wise to remember something: The Olympics is about sports, not politics. Every country in the world, no matter how odious, is allowed to compete. That includes North Korea, which starves its own people and maintains sadistic gulags for dissidents. It includes Cuba and Uganda, which persecute gays. It includes Saudi Arabia and Iran, where female adulterers can be stoned to death.

If people really want an Olympics free of people who are offensive, they should call for a committee to screen out countries with abominable human-rights records. After all, some athletes may be complicit in the activities of their government, informing on teammates in exchange for favored treatment. East German Olympic figure skater Katarina Witt, one of the darlings of the ice rink in the 1980s, was later proven to be an informer for the Stasi secret police who met with her control agent even after the Berlin Wall fell.

Somehow I doubt the Racial Sensitivity Police at the Olympics want to open that can of worms. Instead, they prefer to score cheap points by enforcing their brand of political correctness — for offenses that are sometimes real, sometimes exaggerated, and sometimes just silly.

Full findings of Rochdale sex grooming review will not be made public

|

A high-level review into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale will not be made public, town hall chiefs have revealed.

Rochdale council chief executive Jim Taylor said the authority is only planning to publish an executive summary of the report for the public to see.
The full report – which was called to explore how the council dealt with allegations of sexual exploitation following the conviction of nine men in June for grooming young girls for sex – will remain secret.
Prime Minister David Cameron has now warned he could call an independent serious case review if the council’s own report fails to deal with the issues.
In a letter to Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk, Mr Cameron said it was ‘critically important’ that the council’s review ‘gets to the bottom’ of the problem.

He added: "If further steps appear to be necessary at a national level in the light of either review, including considering the need for a serious case review, the government will ensure appropriate action is taken."
The council’s review of its internal procedures is expected to report back in the autumn.
A second review by Rochdale’s Safeguarding Children Board is expected before that.
Both reports are looking at how the authorities dealt with allegations of sexual abuse.
During the recent court case, which saw nine men jailed for a total 77 years for sexually exploiting girls, it emerged that some victims raised concerns as early as 2008 claiming they were being abused, but no action was taken against the perpetrators until 2010.

The council says it is reviewing a decade worth of notes to see if early warning signs were ignored.
Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk is also pressing for the council and Safeguarding Children Board to produce a ‘warts and all’ account of how girls were sexually exploited, to prevent it happening again.
Mr Danczuk said: "This was a horrendous case of abuse and we need a full, transparent investigation to ensure that lessons are learned.

"I have said in Parliament that we cannot have a cover-up and that’s why I want the council to publish a full, warts and all report of what went wrong and why these young girls were not listened to.
"If the council refuses to do this, the public will quite rightly be asking ‘who are they trying to protect?’ and ‘what have they got to hide?’
"It will be a disgrace if their investigation is not fully published and I have had assurances from the Prime Minister that action will be taken if necessary."

The Observer understands the council has made the decision to publish an executive summary because it believes the final report will need to have some information obscured because of the sensitivity of the case.
Jim Taylor, Rochdale council’s chief executive, said: "The council is taking a thorough look at internal processes, examining communications between services and how information is shared between agencies.
"We have already developed different ways of working, but I need to be confident that improvements have gone far enough, that we are doing everything we can to ensure that young people are protected and supported and that abusers are brought to justice quickly.
"The executive summary of the report will be published."

NWN: Is this what we call a 'cover up' boys and girls ?   Those who 'dragged their feet' as to the criminal activities of the pakistani paedophiles because they were feared of being called 'racist', should all be sacked. In fact further, they should receive jail sentences in our opinion.

Griffin opposes zionism - changes his mind AGAIN

Nick Griffin changes his political opinions more often than he changes his shirt.

We have seen on other forums people calling him flip flop Griffin!

He never believes anything he says himself, it is all like moving the furniture around in the living room.

Anyone who believes that Nick Griffin is sincere in the above video, is either stupid or bonkers or both.

We have seen it all before.

It's not that long ago Griffin was in support of the EDL, and not too long before that, he proscribed the EDL.

We have no intention of keeping up to date on Griffins policy changes.

Our heads would be spinning!

One thing we would say is, never to believe anything  Griffin says. He doesn't believe it himself.

Don't trust the EDL or Nick Griffin . Both are zionisms stalking horses.
