"Martin Webster's latest .......

Dear All,

Does anybody know anything about this story [see below]: i.e. the allegation that the anti-terror Police have recently raided the homes of prominent BNP officials/candidates, finding one in possession of a very large quantity of explosives?

I do not normally rely on the Socialist Worker as a source of information, but the SW web site report is rather more than mere rumour. The interesting thing about this story -- apart from its immediate facts -- is that the media either wholly or very largely ignored the story.

This is in stark contrast to the huge publicity quite rightly accorded by the media, with Police assistance, to recent raids on the homes of alleged Muslim terrorists. I have long been concerned that the BNP in general (and Griffin in particular) have received in recent times special treatment (helpful treatment that is to say, not "sonderbehandlung" !) from the Police, the mass media, and sundry government agencies.

There is one scandal I have been investigating for some time now involving a potentially lethal health threat to a group of idealistic young nationalists who were inveigled by a certain person and his family to conduct (unpaid!) a particular kind of property renovation. I have "smoking gun" evidence in the form of an admission by the perpetrator, who also expresses his callous attitude to his helpers' future health on a contemporaneous video, recently transferred to DVD.

I have attempted to ventilate this scandal via the media but have been staggered by the way in which in the case of numerous approaches, initial keen interest went inexplicably cold.

Then, of course, there was the inaction by the Police in connection with the assertion by Nick Griffin's former bodyguard, Joe Owens that he (Owens) had been solicited last Christmas to perform assassinations of leading Establishment figures by Tony Lecomber, then Griffin's chief lieutenant in the BNP. Owens published his account on the Internet, and I republished it in the Electronic Loose Cannon.

This criminal solicitation to murder (made to a self-confessed gangster/killer) was admitted by Lecomber and Griffin was reluctantly forced to drop him from his (public) positions in the BNP.

However, Lecomber is still retained on the BNP payroll because he undoubtedly has "the goods" on Griffin in respect of a number of serious criminal, political and personal matters. The Police reaction to this information has been on the lazy side of lethargic.

Contrast this to the relentless (and quite proper) Police pursuit of former Liberal party leader Jeremy Thorpe over his solicitaton to murder his former boyfriend Norman Scott!

The media's seeming suppression of news concerning this recent alleged bomb raid on the BNP, and media/Police soft treatment of Griffin and associates in respect of other serious matters, reinforces my belief that Griffin & Co have been granted some degree of Establishment protection. What have Griffin and his inner circle done to deserve this?

All of this will, eventually, "come out in the wash" -- but perhaps not before great damage has been done to the patriotic cause and, indeed, the interests sof the country as a whole. It would be better if the boil could be lanced earlier rather than later. If anybody has any information about this alleged bombs raid, I would be glad to have it as soon as possible. The sources of information will be treated as confidential. Please circulate this to your contacts, a.s.a.p. Thanks!Martin. ==========================================

Here's a police seizure of weapons that wasn't splashed all over the front pages. This week a British National Party election candidate has been accused of possessing the largest amount of chemical explosives of its type ever found in the country. That's right, the largest ever - imagine if he'd been an Asian man.

Home secretary John Reid would have held a special press conference and it would have led every news bulletin. The home of another man charged with similar offences contained a rocket launcher and a nuclear biological suit as well as BNP literature and chemicals!Robert Cottage of Talbot Street, Colne, and David Bolus Jackson of Trent Road, Nelson, made separate appearances in court charged with being in possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose.

Cottage was arrested at his home on Thursday of last week, while retired dentist Jackson was arrested in the Lancaster area on Friday. The 22 chemical components recovered by police are believed to be the largest haul ever found at a house in this country. Cottage stood as a BNP candidate in the Pendle council elections in May.Christiana Buchanan, who appeared for the prosecution in Jackson's case, alleged the pair had "some kind of masterplan".
