Please support this lad !

A further update to the situation of political prisoner Kevin Hughes, BNP Worcester Organiser, imprisoned for an alleged racially aggravated assault on a twice failed Iraqi asylum seeker, despite their being no witnesses and no evidence.

Kevin has today received the tremendously uplifting news that his Appeal hearing has been set for Friday 6th October. It is possible that Kevin may walk free on that day, or that the hearing lasts for some time.

This is certainly good news for those who seek justice for our imprisoned colleague and friend.

Kevin has also told us that amongst the many gifts he has received are patriotic flags, towels and amusingly an audio CD of the soundtrack to the prison movie The Shawshank Redemption, and to the hilarity of Kevin and several prison warders, two cockroach traps, which officers declined to pass over to Kevin.

Please do keep sending in letters of support, plus suitable reading material to:

I have writen to Kevin twice recently and sent a few mags. I also sent him a small supply of stamps and envelopes as he asked me to.
He says that sometimes he is allowed the magazines but other times, they are witheld from him.
Personally, I think his trial was a farce from beginning to end and he should never have been convicted.
